Headquarters and Innovation Center
Welcome to the Spartech Innovation Center
Where Ideas Come To Life.
A one-of-a-kind product testing and creation lab, Spartech’s Innovation Center is a key differentiator for the company. At this 90,000 square-foot St. Louis facility, customers and suppliers alike can experiment with new materials, try novel approaches to product creation, and even reverse engineer materials to determine composition.
Not only does Spartech’s Innovation Center underscore the company’s commitment to finding right-fit solutions for customers, it also encourages the trial and testing of novel ideas and innovative customer collaboration. Spartech is a seasoned player in an ever-changing industry, requiring the company to constantly stay on top of trends and ahead of customer needs. This commitment to staying ahead of the curve is one of the many reasons for the Innovation Center’s founding more than 10 years ago.
By leveraging Spartech’s decades of experience, resins expertise, manufacturing knowledge, and committed staff, Spartech’s management has positioned the company for continued growth and market leadership well into the future.
One important goal of the Innovation Center — which makes use of both sunlight and energy-efficient electrical lighting — is to find new ways of creating sustainable products with less impact on the environment.
On a random walk through the center, you’re likely to see groups of customers, Spartech scientists, technology experts, marketers, and design engineers all collaborating to innovate sustainable processes and products.
By housing Spartech’s core capabilities of material science expertise, processing knowledge and creative design capabilities all under one roof, teams are able to more rapidly advance sustainability breakthroughs to applied customer solutions.
Spartech is proud to provide a place that truly is a thinktank for our customers and industry. Customers consistently share a sense of a “wow factor” after visiting the Innovation Center.
In addition to housing brilliant people — including two PhDs — the Innovation Center hums with an inexplicable energy. If you’re a customer or supplier, we’d love to have you come visit and experience the Innovation Center for yourself.
