Cape Girardeau Missouri
Welcome to Spartech Cape Girardeau
This rural Missouri plant traces its history back to 1960. True to its strong Midwestern roots, the operation is known for being steady, dependable, and committed to quality. In recent years — particularly in response to the Covid-19 pandemic — the team called on their innovation capabilities and produced a line of sneeze guards for the restaurant and food industry.
Production at the plant has expanded into a line of Spa products, based on the team's innovative approach to incorporating ABS into high-demand materials.

Get to know Cape Girardeau
Situated on the mighty Mississippi River, Cape Girardeau is the only "inland Cape" known. The city is the largest city between St. Louis and Memphis, and home to Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO).
Charles N. Harris founded Atlas Plastics in 1960. In 1986, Spartech purchased Atlas Plastics, and changed the name to Atlas-Alchem. That name was later dropped and changed to Spartech as all of the plant locations were brought together under the Spartech brand.
