Polypropylene Biohazard Bags

Our Tufpak® polypropylene autoclave biohazard bags are specifically intended for industries specializing in biotech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical research, government / military use, and OEM parts that require sterilization prior to use or assembly. Because of this, our Red polypropylene autoclave biohazard bags are compliant with the most stringent global regulations, including:

• OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910-1030: Biohazard markings in four languages (English, French, German, Spanish).
• EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA): Cradle-to-Grave compliance under 40 CFR 262.
• Federal DOT Regulation 49 CFR 173.197: HazMat handling and marking requirements, including ASTM D1922 and D1709 testing standards.
• State Regulations: California Health and Safety Code 117630 and Florida Dept. Health Code # 64E-16.004-2C.
• Global Guidelines: Compliance with CDC, EU Hazardous Waste Directive, and WHO Directives.

Each bag features a temperature indicator patch that changes to “CONTENTS HAVE BEEN AUTOCLAVED” after exposure to steam heat and pressure, providing a clear visual confirmation of sterilization.
